Student answer (Band 5.5)
Today planty of private limited companies avaible in market in all fields. Mostly these companies want to good reputation in globle market for create high revenue and profit margin, thus they can do continuously ready to researching new products or medicines. While i think government should take responsiblity in the research because it lead to nation growth and people's health.
On the one hand, companies which are releted to medical field , nowadays they start to create new medicens for good health and long terms intake , which is not harm to human body like no side effects that's why medicien cost is increasing. This type of medicen founded by private compenies , they charge more money because of private spent lot of money to founded new druge of medicines. Not only this some times creating more profit companies give us to chep and unhealty medicien , which have not good qulity of druge and lead sevral issue and desies. For example , during the corona pendamic multiple companies create fake antidode for decresed corona virus to create more profit and good wealth.
On the other hand , if government take their position in every companies , which are connected to human health they can prevent the issue and save people's life. Moreover government should founded some exprienced compnies for new medical research and invetion project they might be get good result and companies sell their new medicines at afordable market price so that exery people can buy it .
In my opinion , government should spend some money on research and creation which lead to good heathly era and people lieve safe.
To conclude , government should take banne on some medicines and give some subsidy for new invation in medical field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear opinion that government should take responsibility for medical research, and you address the role of private companies by discussing high prices, profit motives and possible risks to patients. The examples and explanations are relevant to the question. However, the comparison is not fully developed: the response says little about research funded by individuals, and the claim about companies producing fake COVID-19 antidotes is presented without explanation or support. Your proposal that government should fund experienced companies and make medicines affordable is useful, but could be explained in more detail. Develop each main point with a specific, credible example and clarify how government oversight would improve research and access to treatment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, an opinion and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “Not only this” moves from expensive medicines to cheap, unhealthy ones without clearly explaining the contrast. The conclusion also introduces banning medicines and subsidies without connecting these proposals fully to the preceding argument. Use clearer topic sentences and make the relationship between each claim and its supporting example explicit; check that pronouns and references clearly identify what they refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “profit margin,” “side effects,” “medical research,” “subsidy” and “affordable market price.” These choices show an effort to discuss costs, safety and public funding. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to interpret, as in “planty,” “globle,” “medicens,” “antidode” and “invetion.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “good reputation in global market for create high revenue” and “take banne on some medicines.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations for this topic, and proofread spelling and word forms. Prefer precise expressions such as “fund research,” “approve medicines” and “make treatments affordable.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which” and “so that.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main position is generally understandable. However, errors in sentence construction, verb forms, articles and agreement recur. For example, “they can do continuously ready to researching” has an unclear verb pattern, while “if government take their position” needs a correctly formed conditional clause. Several sentences join ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, particularly the opening sentence of the second body paragraph. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check verb forms after modal verbs and ensure each sentence has a clear main clause and appropriate punctuation.
