Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays the finance of the medical recources is provides by private companies. In generally, from my opinion the midical recources need to be provided by goverment.
Not all people can be provided with the medicine resources because they do not have the enough money for buy it.Therefore they can not to buy it from private companies. If the ill is deadly it can be seriously problem for the people who ill with it.For example my brother ill diabet millitus and he need to check his blood sugar. But for the check blood sugar you need to have the special device for it.That is why I prefer the goverment need to provide people with the significant ill
The private companies have significant roll for medicine. They have more improved technology and have realy good specialists.I thing the investment to the private companies is good idea.Beacuse when my brother do not have the device,we went to buy this from private medicine centre they have realy big and significant recources.
In conlusion, the goverment need to provide people with a deadly ills and make the technology better at the medicine. Then to more investment to the private companies because it provide the people with other treatments. That is the reasons I prefer to funded by goverment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for government funding, while also recognising that private companies can contribute technology and treatments. The example of your brother needing a blood-sugar device helps make the issue relevant. However, the response only partially develops the task: it does not clearly compare government, private companies and individuals, and the reasons for government responsibility remain limited. The conclusion introduces a useful division of roles, but this is not fully explained in the body. The response is also 44 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. To strengthen the response, explain how government funding could improve access and give a fuller comparison with private research.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an opening position, separate paragraphs about access and private companies, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Therefore,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is limited: the first body paragraph moves from affordability to a personal example without fully explaining the link to research funding, and the conclusion adds a new proposal about government and private roles. Some connections are unclear, including “Then to more investment to the private companies.” Use each paragraph to develop one main point, and make the relationship between government funding, private investment and public access explicit. More precise referencing and transitions would also reduce the abruptness between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “private companies,” “medicine,” “technology,” “specialists” and “treatments,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. For example, “medical recources” is unclear, “significant ill” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “deadly ills” is an awkward phrase. Repetition of “real[y] big and significant” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of expressions for medical research, access and illness, and check spelling carefully. Choosing familiar words accurately is more effective than using imprecise or unnatural combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas using clauses and reasons, as in “because they do not have the enough money for buy it,” and you use some simple sentences to communicate your position. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make several sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “the finance … is provides,” “they can not to buy,” and “my brother ill diabet millitus and he need,” which show problems with verb forms, sentence construction and agreement. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then extend them with “because,” “although” or “which.” Proofread each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb and appropriate punctuation.
