Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the recent years, Medical research are the important and essential factor of our daily routine life and also plays a pivotal role in the field of health-care after Crona 2021. but, Some people believe that private companies work on medical research projects instead of government fund. However, I strongly agree with this notion that the medical research projects should be funded by private companies when government in facing various financial challanges and to support government and help in rising health-care field.
There are various reasons nowadays that, many medical research projects are funded by private companies.firstly, to reduce burden on government to support our health department and drive-up the new researches with the help of new technology. It is too expensive to do medical research and our government is not able now to provide proper funds to the researchers to do proper job with proper tools and techniques.
Secondly,In the 3rd world countries it is not possible for the government to provid proper facilites to the medical researches to do advance level work on the medical research labs and find some thing new for us and interesting. For instance in this age our government is facing accute difficulties in solving major economic crices and our country is under huge debt. as well as the ratio of aging is increasing day by day that shows unemplyment and need of health-care centers so its necessary to work on medical research project and find some new techniques and medicines for new health issues.
In conclusion, It is to notify that when our government is not directly in the position to support our medicial research projects it can work with collaboration of private companies but on-the-other-hand, we understand private companies do research and give funds properly but they can get multiple advantages from government.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear preference for private-company funding, especially in the introduction, and offer relevant reasons: reducing pressure on government budgets and enabling research with advanced technology. The discussion of economic difficulties and growing healthcare needs also relates to the topic. However, the task asks whether research should be carried out by private companies, individuals, or government, and your response focuses almost entirely on private companies and government funding. Individuals are not considered, and the conclusion introduces collaboration and companies’ advantages without explaining how these affect your position. Several claims, such as private funding being necessary, need a specific example or fuller explanation. Addressing all three options and developing the supporting points more clearly would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined together without clear links. For example, the second body paragraph moves from facilities in developing countries to economic crises, debt, ageing, unemployment, and healthcare centres in one extended sequence. Some connectors are also used mechanically or inaccurately, and the final contrast, “but on-the-other-hand,” does not clearly connect to the preceding claim. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research projects,” “health-care,” “technology,” and “economic crises,” and some phrases show an effort to use a more formal register. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “drive-up the new researches,” “proper facilities to the medical researches,” and “the ratio of aging,” which do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling problems such as “Crona,” “challanges,” and “unemplyment” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of phrases for funding, research facilities, and public health, and check spelling and word forms carefully. This would make your meaning more precise and consistent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “when” and “that,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “Medical research are” and “government in facing,” while articles and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “In the recent years” and the lower-case “but” after a full stop. Some long sentences combine several clauses without clear punctuation, making relationships between ideas hard to follow. These recurring errors can cause difficulty for the reader, even though the overall argument remains understandable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries first; then build longer sentences with one clear main clause and carefully controlled supporting clauses.
