Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, the technology is icreasing widely and it is also cost effective and many reserch works are funded due to private companies because of highly expensive products and equipments that could not be eassily managed through government funds so it is a good way to expand your bisness but it has a great impact on our societies.

From my perspective government should carry these funds for medical reserarch projects so that people can get their essential medical products in low cost so that it will help them easily. While if the funds are produced by private companies that will increases the taxes and people having low expenses could not fullfill there mwdical needs and that will also cause a distruction of there life.

Eventually, poor people having low wages could not get the nessasery medical equiments or health facilities through the taxes that are preserved by the private companies. It will help the government to get rid of all the funding prospective but it will cause a very distructive rool in our country and also increase the death rate of poor peoples through taxes that will be attained by the private companies due to there fundings.

Moreover, it also distrupt the ecconomical growth beacuse of thuge taxes that have been emplied on the citizens. For example, mostly the average people of over country are poor and middle class that could not easily pay there taxes and could not fullfill the needs for there daily life circumstances sor if they can get through the expensive medical eqipments the cant able to save and secure their lifes from diffrent deases.

So government should get awair to do these medical reserh work by there own and mplement small amount of taxes so poor can get easily medical treatment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall opinion that government should fund medical research, and you offer relevant reasons, including affordability for people on low incomes and the possible effect of taxes. However, the response addresses the choice only partially: it does not explain the role of individuals, and the comparison with private companies is not consistently clear. Several claims, such as private funding increasing taxes and causing higher death rates, are asserted without explaining the link or providing a specific example. The opening also introduces technology and business expansion without connecting these points clearly to your position. To strengthen the response, state the funding model you support directly, then develop two reasons with clear cause-and-effect explanations and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a concluding recommendation, so there is some basic organisation. However, the progression between ideas is difficult to follow: the first paragraph moves from technology to private funding and business expansion, while later paragraphs repeat concerns about poor people, taxes and medical access. Linking expressions such as “Eventually,” “Moreover,” and “For example” are present, but they do not always show a clear relationship between the points that follow. References such as “these funds” and “it” can also make the intended meaning uncertain. Organise the body around distinct reasons, use each paragraph to develop one main point, and make links between claims explicit rather than repeating them.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “medical research projects,” “economical growth,” “taxes,” and “medical treatment.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the argument difficult to understand, for example “eassily,” “nessasery,” “distructive,” and “emplied.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “funds are produced by private companies” and “taxes that are preserved.” These issues fit a limited but minimally adequate range, with noticeable errors that sometimes affect clarity. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling, word forms, and collocations; choose precise terms such as “fund,” “provide,” and “impose taxes” according to the meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “so that,” “while,” and “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “that will increases the taxes” has incorrect subject–verb agreement and verb form, while “people having low expenses could not fullfill there mwdical needs” has an unclear grammatical construction and reference. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention; the opening sentence joins several ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using one subordinate clause at a time. Check agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation during revision.
