Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this modern era, several medical researches are carried out by private companies. In my opinion, it is not a good development. Research should be funded by government. So in the forthcoming paragraphs, I have suggested some reason behind this and I have also supported my stand with the reasonale justifications.
Taking into account, if medical research sponser by a private companies, so it can decrease work load of the government in some aspects for instance government can save that money and spent on other things. It can be also beneficial to a particular company such as employee, who work for this company can aquire medicine in short duration.
Moreover, if a medical research can carried out by a government, so it can be provided to country people, in which they can use use medicine , which are fully tested and and prescribed by exports. Government funded medical researches can also provide appropriate knowledge about specific information or serious find to a citizens.
In addition, experiments should funded by government because if a particular company work on a medical research so, it can increase work load and financial pressure. For instance, government have enough workers and sources for this kind of research, whereas private company can not more sufficiant to tackle financial loss and deficieny of workers. So, it is a good idea, government should provide fund for medical research.
To conclude, if a meicl research can funded by a private company, so it can decrease pressure of work and wealth and it can be useful for employees too. If a research carried out by the government, so it can reduce the financial and work pressure of workers, by having range of employees for government work. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a position—that government should fund medical research—and give relevant reasons, including wider public access to medicines and the government’s greater capacity to provide staff and resources. However, the response only partially develops the task. The opening says private funding is “not a good development,” but the first body paragraph then presents benefits of private funding without clearly explaining why these do not outweigh your preference for government funding. The discussion also does not fully compare the roles of companies, individuals, and government, and claims such as medicines being “fully tested” are asserted rather than supported with a specific example. To strengthen the response, maintain a clear position while developing each reason with explanation or a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “Moreover,” “In addition,” and “To conclude.” However, progression is difficult to follow because the first body paragraph supports private funding, while later paragraphs favour government funding, without a clear transition or comparison. Linking phrases are often used mechanically, and repeated “so” constructions make relationships between ideas unclear. Some references are also difficult to interpret, such as “it can reduce the financial and work pressure of workers.” Organise the body around distinct reasons for your position, and use linking words only when they accurately show contrast, cause, or addition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research,” “financial pressure,” “employees,” and “medicines,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. For example, “serious find” does not clearly express the intended idea, while “aquire,” “sponser,” and “sufficiant” are misspelled. Phrases such as “appropriate knowledge about specific information” are vague and repetitive. Aim for precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully. Replacing general claims with terms such as “public access,” “research funding,” and “clinical trials” would help you express your ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if a particular company work on a medical research.” However, these complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make meaning unclear. Examples include “research sponser by a private companies,” “if a medical research can carried out,” and “government have enough workers.” There are also repeated words and punctuation problems, as in “use use medicine” and “tested and and prescribed.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and verb forms. For example: “If a private company funds research, it may focus on treatments that benefit its business.”
