Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

My opinion the medical research projects funded by private companies is not good. All medical research projects are always funded by government not even individuals. There are many benefits that funded by government

If, government funded this project governments must maintain a central role in medical research plays a pivole role in advacing healthcare and extending human life expectancy.

While the projects which funded by private companies is always be risky. And they not do all test of their products because chances of failure. They use cheap quality products for saving money and, companies doesn't follow the proper medical test method. They bribe senior officers to get their project approved. When this project launched in market without proper testing. When patient take this medicince he/she must be faced by many problems. Private companies currently fund a significant portion of these scientific projects. Also if, project orgasnised by individuals so maker shuold be not affort cost of big medicines like cancer.

So, there are many reasones why medical projects organised by government firstly, they use the best quality of their products, also they hier people for normal workes like cleaning, cooking so, even those who are not qualified can get a because of it. Medicines

should be properly tested and approved to ensure that they have no defects and also all people can affort this medicines because this medicines made by government so it's cheaper and better than private companies. That's why this type of projects are always be organised by government for cheap and good qualities.

In conclusion, my opinion medicines always organised by government is good for all people and also people get job and they get good health by taking good medicines.

Private companies are also good for some things like tv, pjonr4

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is that government should lead medical research, and you give relevant reasons, including affordability, testing, public health and employment. However, the response addresses the options unevenly: private companies and government receive most attention, while the role of individuals is mentioned only briefly through the claim that they cannot afford major research such as cancer treatment. Several claims—such as companies using cheap materials or bribing officials—are presented as general facts without examples or explanation. The opening also says research is “always” government-funded, which conflicts with the task’s premise that private companies fund many projects. Develop a balanced, clearly qualified argument and explain how government oversight could work alongside private funding.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position can be followed. However, ideas are not arranged coherently throughout: the paragraph beginning “If, government funded this project” shifts between government’s role, private-company risks and individual funding without clear transitions. Connectors such as “also,” “so” and “when” are repeated or used in ways that do not show the relationship between ideas, and some sentences are fragments, including “When this project launched in market without proper testing.” The conclusion repeats the preference for government but then adds an unrelated comment about television and phones. Use one main idea per paragraph, link each reason explicitly to your position, and remove unrelated material.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research,” “healthcare,” “life expectancy,” “proper testing” and “approved,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “good,” “government” and “medicines.” Frequent spelling and word-choice problems—such as “pivole,” “advacing,” “medicince,” “affort” and “organised”—make parts of the response difficult to read. Some expressions are also imprecise, for example “normal workes” and “good qualities.” Build a more accurate set of topic vocabulary and check spelling; choose specific terms such as “research staff,” “affordable treatment” and “safety standards” to express your points clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and conditional structures, but control is weak and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “If, government funded this project governments must maintain a central role” has an incorrect conditional form and punctuation, while “the projects which funded by private companies is always be risky” has problems with passive construction and subject–verb agreement. Sentence fragments such as “When this project launched in market without proper testing” also interrupt meaning. Articles, plurals and verb forms are often missing or inconsistent, as in “all people can affort this medicines.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although” and “if.”
