Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, some people reckon that medical research programs are excute by private company however, i believe that research should be held by authorities instead of people and private organisations. Government play a crucial role in the research programs because it increases accountability and authenticity towards the society and countries.
There are myraid of reasons, first and foremost, if authorities spend money on research projects then rise the loyalty towards society because they can doing reseach under the protection of people and strict rules and regulations could be apply while researching because in some projects needapply proper rule that nobody harms to wildlife habitat. For instance, in china, survey conduct in the laboratory had no harm any animals because government funded on projects under the preservation act 1992 . Moreover, if government funded on projects it is authenticity and protection to the wildlife habitat.
Another significant reasons of this approach is that in the research needs more money because of fees of scientists and money for other pivotal aspects such as laboratory items and maintenance charges if government should provide funded in programs then beneficial for scientific they can do their work so convenient and gets essential things so affordable within limited time. For example, in India , government provide 80 % of fund during Covid pandemic then they provide medicine within the limit time and stop threat of life. Although, some projects need huge amount of money which essential for human lives and research on critical conditions.
In conclusion, i largely believe that government should spend money on research project because they do not harm any animals while reseaching and protect them under preservation and have accountability towards their citizens .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you favour government funding, and you give two relevant reasons—public accountability and the resources needed for research. The examples about animal protection and Covid-19 also help connect your argument to real situations. However, the response addresses the choice between government, private companies and individuals only partly: it does not explain why private companies or individuals are less suitable, and the examples are asserted rather than clearly substantiated. Some reasoning is also unclear, such as how government funding itself ensures that no animals are harmed. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and directly compare the funding options to make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “first and foremost,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” show how you intend to organise the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, unclear sentences. For example, the first body paragraph moves from loyalty to society, to rules, to wildlife protection without clearly explaining the links. “Moreover” also introduces a point that largely repeats the previous one. Use one main idea per paragraph, arrange its explanation and example in a clear sequence, and make references such as “this approach” explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “accountability,” “authenticity,” “preservation” and “maintenance charges,” and this gives the response some range beyond basic language. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the intended meaning hard to understand. Phrases such as “rise the loyalty,” “research programs,” and “beneficial for scientific” do not express the ideas naturally; “authenticity” is also not the clearest term for the reliability of publicly funded research. Spelling errors such as “myraid” and “reseaching” further affect accuracy. Build a bank of natural research-related collocations and check spelling and word forms when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if authorities spend money on research projects” and a concession beginning “Although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction frequently make the message difficult to follow. For example, “Government play” lacks subject–verb agreement, while “then rise the loyalty” has an incomplete verb structure; “they can doing reseach” also uses the wrong verb form. Some sentences run several clauses together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each verb against its subject.
