Student answer (Band 4.5)

In today's era, private companies are funded to many medical research projects. In my opinion, i do not think that investigation should be carried by private companies, individuals or government. Private companies funded medical projects because they want to invests their money for people health. This is not a point of research which carried by government.

To initiate, nowadays, private companies invests on medical research project for well-being of citizens, however companies get benefits from this project because when they funded in medical research companies they also get fame and it increases there market shares. Hence, because of this project citizens takes proper healthy doses and do not pay huge amount for treatments.

Additionally, government should not involves in this project because after completing project government gets more benefits instead of companies. Government start collecting taxes from medical projects and they also give commisison to the private companies. Nowadays, private companies start their business with government so, they can able to hide their black money and easily get benefits from taxes.

In my opinion, private companies funded to medical reseach project this are the beneficial for all citizens and also increase health requirements. Therefore, government should not do research on this bcause it is essential for people well-being and development of citizens economical wealth.

In conclusion, because of medical research, private companies and governement, they all take advantages of this by getting fame and taxes, so, doing reseach is not the way to stop project, it only increases wealth of companies and government.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You attempt to answer the question and state a preference for private companies, but your position is difficult to follow: the opening says research should not be carried out by private companies, individuals or government, while later paragraphs support private funding. The discussion also shifts to government taxes, commissions and alleged concealment of money, without clearly explaining which funding model is best or comparing the roles of individuals and government. Your points about public health and companies gaining fame are relevant, but they need clearer explanation and specific support. The response is 244 words, six words below the 250-word minimum; the nine words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop a consistent position and support it with relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To initiate,” “Additionally” and “In conclusion” show an attempt to organise the discussion. However, the ideas are not arranged into a clear line of argument: the opening contradicts the later support for private companies, and the paragraph about government introduces claims that do not clearly connect to the main position. Some links are also difficult to follow, particularly “This is not a point of research which carried by government.” Use each paragraph to develop one clear reason, connect claims with explicit cause-and-effect explanations, and make the conclusion restate the same position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research,” “treatments,” “taxes” and “market shares,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make ideas unclear, such as “funded to many medical research projects,” “healthy doses” and “increase health requirements.” Spelling errors, including “reseach,” “commisison” and “governement,” are also noticeable. Aim for more precise expressions for funding, public health and research outcomes, and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general terms with accurate topic vocabulary would make your argument easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “however.” Nevertheless, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning hard to determine. Examples include “companies invests,” “government should not involves,” and “citizens takes,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Verb forms and sentence construction are also problematic in “This is not a point of research which carried by government” and “private companies funded to medical reseach project this are the beneficial.” Work on agreement, consistent verb forms, articles and complete clause structure. Building accurate simple sentences first, then adding subordinate clauses, will improve clarity and control.
