Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent days, majority of the researches are funded by pivate organizations. Some people think that to promote medical researches besides private companies, individuals or goverments should also be invloved. The essay will disccuss about the need for funding before giving my opinion.
On one hand, in the advance world study of medical act as huge project and should be accomplised with proper support. Although, private companies might help in contrubution with financial support, materials or equpiment. It is the responsibility of every individuals to take part in study as well as the goverment. In result, the researcher will need to pause their project and cannot achieve a definate results. For example, medical centres in the rural area might face shortage to buy advances equpiments like ultra microcopes for research study. In contrast, they will need to stop their work and have to wait, in such case government should provide a better advanced labs for the students and staffs.
On other hand, some private organizations have certain limit to support financial. Projects like gene study are needed to conducted by well-know scientist and need to paid. If all money are used from one paticular company, then their will be not much fund to conduct a research study. For instance, private company like TATA helps with the study of cancer and this organization invest money at every individuals health. However, the institution will need external support to fullfilled the needs of the doctors in the hospital. Therefore, there should be a balance of fund usage with keeping in consideration of medical projects.
In conclusion, in my opinion peoples, government and private companies should be contribute with a equal finacial fulfillment support for the research.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question by discussing contributions from private companies, individuals and government, and your conclusion supports shared funding. The examples of rural medical centres lacking equipment and a company supporting cancer research help make the discussion relevant. However, the position is not fully clear until the conclusion: the introduction says the essay will discuss funding but does not state which source you favour. Several points are also under-developed or unclear, such as why individuals should contribute and how the proposed equal funding would work. The discussion focuses mainly on the need for more funding rather than comparing the roles and advantages of each source. State your view clearly at the outset and explain each source’s contribution with a specific, developed reason.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted with “On one hand” and “On other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through the discussion, and examples are generally placed alongside the points they illustrate. However, the contrast between the body paragraphs is not always clear, since both mainly argue for additional support. Some links are mechanical or do not express the intended relationship: “Although” begins an incomplete thought, while “In result” and “In contrast” do not connect the ideas logically. References such as “they” and “the institution” are also unclear. Use linking expressions only when their meaning fits, and make the subject of each sentence explicit to improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “financial support,” “research project,” “gene study” and “external support,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “advance world,” “a equal finacial fulfillment support” and “balance of fund usage”; these do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “pivate,” “goverments,” “equpiments” and “paticular,” which reduce clarity and control. Build a bank of accurate phrases for discussing funding and research, and proofread spelling carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “advanced world,” “an equal financial contribution” and “allocate funding.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If all money are used from one paticular company” and a relative clause in “Projects like gene study are needed to conducted by well-know scientist.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “every individuals” should use a singular noun, “should be contribute” has an incorrect verb form, and “are needed to conducted” needs a passive infinitive. The sentence beginning “Although, private companies…” is incomplete. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause before adding subordinate clauses, and check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns during revision.
