Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern era, many medical research projects are invested by private corpurations. some people says private companies work better rather than government companies. while other argue government worker job doing good. I strongly agree with these views private companies searching a more better it is a very helpful for human lifes.
on the one hand, many people belive that private companies should invest money in medical field it is really help full for medical field for example private companies should research new medicines and treatment like heart treatment lungs operation this type of operations it is really helpful for human life also it should develope modern medicies they can effect rapidly and there is no drawbags also it is very budget friendly this is a reason i agree with private sectors , therefore result is really for this step because private sectors works ground level it is so beneficial for lower level people.
on the other hand, some people belive that the government also invest mostly money in medical field they protect human lifes also government companies make medicines low budget medicines because government pay own money in this project it is so beneficial for poor individuals while private companies should think profit make but government companies do not think this type of typical benifits also government help and give all over the area villages and cities all over the area free transport this is really benifit for needy persons.
In conclusion, i strongly belive that private companies is better rather than government companies. private companies work is so clean and effectively for individuals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear preference for private companies in the opening and conclusion, and you also recognise a relevant counterpoint: government-funded research can provide affordable medicines and support poorer people. These points address the topic, but the response only partially develops the comparison. For example, private research is said to produce treatments and be “budget friendly,” yet the explanation of how it achieves this is unclear; the claim that there are “no drawbacks” is also unsupported. The government paragraph offers useful ideas, but does not explain how these weigh against your preference. To strengthen the response, state more precisely whether research should be led by companies, government, or a partnership, then support each main reason with a specific example and explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. The phrases “on the one hand,” “on the other hand,” and “in conclusion” help signal this organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several claims are joined together without clear relationships. In the first body paragraph, the discussion moves from medicines and operations to rapid effects, affordability, and benefits for lower-income people without explaining the links. Connectors such as “also” and “therefore” are repeated or used where the logic is unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, develop it step by step, and use pronouns and linking phrases to make the connections between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “medical field,” “medicines,” “treatment,” “profit,” and “needy persons,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main points. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated or imprecise, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to interpret. For instance, “government companies” is not a clear way to describe public research institutions, and “private companies searching a more better” does not communicate a precise advantage. There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, such as “corpurations,” “belive,” “develope,” and “benifit.” Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling; choose wording that expresses the intended idea directly rather than relying on repeated general terms such as “helpful” and “beneficial.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express contrast and give reasons, including clauses beginning with “while” and “because,” but sentence structures are mostly simple or become difficult to control when several ideas are combined. Frequent errors in sentence formation and agreement can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “some people says” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “private companies is better” has a mismatch between subject and verb. The opening also contains sentence fragments and unclear punctuation, and “private companies should invest money … it is really help full” joins ideas without a correct grammatical link. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex forms using “because,” “although,” and “which.” Check agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries during revision.
