Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argue that, at present a large number of medical analyses projects are funded by many private companies. In my view, I largely believe that all cost should be carried public authorities because poor family get affordable treatment and support medical treatment by giving advanced technology.
To begins with, government invest may support medical research by giving money and advanced technology. If public authorities carried all medical investment the people can get public health sercices. In fact, the government focus on improve health system rather than making profits. If invest money on medical research by private company they may profits more money. Moreover, poor people may not get proper treatment for expensive cost of medical treatment. For example, poor people may able treatment and they can save money by affordable treatment. As a result, people can easily survive during their life and save a large amount of money.
Another significant advantage of advanced technology this is mainly because when goverment invest money on medical treatment the medical authorities can use hogh technology. Furthermore, nowadays technology become more advanced so the medical team can use ,new tecnology. They can easily create new innovation about medical related and medical team can give people proper treartment. A good example can be seen that a recent survey showed the Bangladeshi medical team make a new MRI machine for treatment and this cost fully carried by public authorities. As a result, people may adapt with new innovation.
To conclude, although the authorities need a huge fund for carried by medical research however I largely believe that government can invest money on medical research it can help people especially poor people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you argue that government should fund medical research, mainly because this could make treatment more affordable and support technological development. These are relevant reasons, and the Bangladesh MRI example attempts to provide specific support. However, the response addresses the choice among private companies, individuals and government only partly: it focuses on government versus private companies and does not explain whether individuals should have a role. Several points are also under-developed or unclear, such as how public funding directly makes treatment affordable and what the MRI example demonstrates. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a credible, precise example, and briefly compare the alternatives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly separate affordability from technology, and linking expressions such as “To begins with,” “Moreover” and “To conclude” help signal stages in the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from public services to private profits, then to treatment costs and survival without clearly connecting each step. Some links are mechanical or do not express the intended relationship, as in “Another significant advantage of advanced technology this is mainly because.” Use topic sentences that state one main point, then explain and illustrate it in sequence. Clearer referencing and fewer formulaic transitions would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “medical research,” “public authorities,” “affordable treatment” and “advanced technology,” so the topic is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “medical analyses projects” is not a natural phrase for research projects, and “all cost should be carried” does not express the funding idea clearly. Spelling errors such as “sercices,” “hogh” and “treartment” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for funding, research and access to care, and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If public authorities carried all medical investment…” and a relative clause in “the government focus on improve health system.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas hard to understand. Examples include “It is often argue,” “government invest,” “the people can get,” and “the government focus on improve.” The sentence beginning “Another significant advantage…” is also incomplete or incorrectly joined. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and make sure each sentence has a clear subject and finite verb before adding clauses.
