Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Money needed for several healthcare research project came from the private firms at present, but from my perspective the private enterprise should have to manage these types of resouces necessary for research. In my essay i will provide you the reasons to justify my point of view.

As we all know that private companies are making so many

worth today so they should have to invest their money in healthcare projects for many reasons.Firstly, if they private sectors will provide the money for reseach projects epecially related to medical then they can earn more money by steeling the attraction of individual towards itself and sometimes the projects become successfull to get profit in them.Futhermore, it will proving them a way to progress because some initially start-up based comapnies needs some projects to make their name and to become popular. So, private companies need to invest in mediacal reasearch projects.

Secondly, as per today era government have to need to look other sectors like agriculture, education and globalization so they are not be able to pay attentention on these type of researches that is also cruically important for the progress of nation. So, if the privately owned business work corelatively with government then they will make sure the growth of that country.Morever, it will also decrease the unemployment in that state by hiring new staff for specfic research and proving them all the necessary resources require for that and the state will grow if they work collectively.

to sum up these, as private companies are funding now for meical projects ,so they should have to continou it to make their business more successfull and to earn more money by ssking others attention and shoud have to decrease pressure on rulemaker of state by provinding the employes diifferent jobs in reaseach related to medical.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is identifiable: you argue that private companies should fund medical research, and you give relevant reasons, including potential profits, support for start-ups, and employment. The point about governments needing to focus on other sectors also helps explain your preference. However, the response addresses the choice among private companies, individuals, and government only partially: individuals are not discussed, and the role of government is considered mainly as a reason to reduce its responsibility. Several claims, such as research making companies successful or helping national growth, are asserted rather than explained with a specific example. Develop each reason with a clear explanation or example, and address all the options in the question to make your argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a concluding summary. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the first body paragraph moves from company profits to start-ups without clearly explaining the link, while the second combines government priorities, cooperation, employment, and national growth. Some linking expressions, including “So” and “Moreover,” are used mechanically, and the conclusion repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Use one main idea per paragraph, connect each explanation explicitly to your position, and check that references such as “they” have a clear meaning.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “healthcare projects,” “privately owned business,” “unemployment,” and “necessary resources.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “steeling the attraction” (apparently meaning attracting attention), “making so many worth,” and “proving them all the necessary resources.” Medical research is also repeatedly described with misspellings such as “reseach” and “reaseach,” which reduces clarity. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than trying to use complicated wording: for instance, explain that firms may “attract customers” or “generate profits.” Proofread spelling and choose vocabulary that expresses your intended meaning precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “if the privately owned business work… then they will make sure the growth of that country.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “government have to need to look” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “if they private sectors will provide” combines incompatible conditional forms. The opening also runs sentences together after “research,” and capitalisation is inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear subject and verb, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check agreement and verb patterns, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
