Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the current era, the amount of medical researcher are funded by private various organizations . According to my prespective, that research should be carried out by different mediums that maybe people or by state. To support my notion i will make some pratical steps that sustained by different compelling points.

The prevelant aspect of this is when medical research projects are carried by private companies it has multiple drawbacks. For instance, Private companies exploit individuals who are researching on projects by putting so much of perssure. They just want their name to get acknowledged instead of reseacher. However, through their big brand name in social media platform. They just foucs on the project not the reseacher. Futhermore, In that case researcher might get funding to complete their research but ended up being with anonymous person. In addition to this, People will remember the private company name by which the medical research was carried out not the person who has done the research.

On contrast, I argue with the statement, that when research project is funded by government the researcher will get famous for the exceptional hard work while researching. Government always give priority to it's citizen. For instance, When stakeholders are being valued by their government there are high chance of the country being into eyes of the other countires.

To summerise the long story short both medium has their own advantages and disadavntage.

If it is run by private companies then, companies will be famous not the individuals who has work hard during their research. And if by state then, Reseacher will be given a platform where his work will be supported. In my prespective, Funding through Government has more benefits on lager sacle. Government always work for the people of the state in every possible way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear preference for government funding, especially in the final paragraph, and you compare it with private-company funding. The point that companies may receive recognition while researchers remain anonymous is relevant to the question. However, the response only partly develops the issue: it does not explain the role or merits of individuals funding research, despite naming them in the introduction, and the government-side example about a country gaining international attention is not clearly linked to better medical research. Several claims are repeated rather than supported with specific reasoning or an example. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly from the outset and explain how government funding can benefit research outcomes, while also addressing the other funding options.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for private and government funding, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Furthermore,” and “On contrast” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression is often repetitive: the private-company paragraph returns several times to the same point about the company receiving recognition instead of the researcher. Some links are inaccurate or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. The opening also promises “practical steps” but does not provide any. Organise each body paragraph around one distinct reason, explain it in sequence, and use transitions only where they clarify that sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research projects,” “funding,” “stakeholders,” and “exceptional hard work.” This gives the response a basic vocabulary for discussing the topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. Examples include “medical researcher are funded,” “different mediums,” “big brand name,” and “eyes of the other countries.” Spelling errors such as “prespective,” “prevelant,” “reseacher,” and “disadavntage” are also noticeable. Aim to learn common academic collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “research projects are funded,” “funding sources,” and “gain international recognition” in place of the less natural phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both short statements and some attempts at longer structures, including clauses beginning with “when” and “if.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often not controlled accurately. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “the amount of medical researcher are funded” and “the researcher will get famous,” while “companies will be famous not the individuals who has work hard” contains problems with clause structure and agreement. Articles, possessives, and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “it's citizen” and the spacing before the full stop in the opening. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected subordinate clause, then check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
