Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You give a discernible opinion in favour of government funding, especially in the claim that it would be “very useful for every middle-class family.” This is relevant to the question, but the response addresses it only minimally: it does not clearly compare government, private companies and individuals, and the reasons are difficult to follow or insufficiently explained. The example about a large private hospital offering quick treatment does not establish how private funding affects medical research. The response also contains 106 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough development to support your position. To strengthen the answer, state your preference clearly, explain two relevant reasons, and add a specific example showing how that funding model benefits research and patients.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce the topic and your preference, then discuss private companies and hospitals. However, the ideas do not progress in a clear sequence, and the relationship between several sentences is hard to identify. For example, “There have some lots of sites” is not clearly connected to the financial point that follows, while “On the site of personal companies therefore privet companies” does not form a clear transition or complete idea. Linking expressions such as “therefore” and “also” are attempted, but they do not consistently show the intended relationships. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and conclusion, and make each sentence develop one clear point before moving to the next.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary related to the topic, including “medical,” “financial,” “illnesses,” “treatment” and “commercial,” so the reader can recognise the general subject. However, the range is limited, and several inaccurate or unclear word choices make your meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “medical researcher project,” “financial site” and “illnesses site” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “research projects,” “funding” and “medical conditions” would be clearer. Spelling errors, including “scearcher,” “finiancial” and “hoipital,” also reduce clarity. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling, word forms and collocations so that your vocabulary communicates your ideas precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You make an effort to form more than isolated simple statements, but sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which makes the argument difficult to follow. For example, “There have some lots of sites” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “if it carries government so that its very usefull” does not clearly express a conditional relationship. In “The medical analyzes different kind of site,” the subject and verb relationship is unclear, and the sentence does not have a reliable structure. Focus first on accurate simple sentences with a clear subject and verb, then practise joining them with “because,” “although” and “if.” Check articles, plural forms and sentence boundaries, and read each sentence aloud to see whether its meaning is complete.
