Student answer (Band 6.0)

In all around the world, medical researches are conducted by private companies with their own fund. as a result, medical equipments are getting much higher. I believe medical research project should held by government rather private companies or individuals.

It is a true fact that. some gient companies from different location of the words are conducting research with their own investment. Therefore, the medical equipments and treatment cost are crossing ordinary peoples budget especially for financially less fortuene families all around the worlds. As a private companies are telling us the budget so that transparency are neglected.

As we know, medical sector is an integral aspect of our daily life, It should be affordable for everyone. There are numerous reasons why i believe it should be held by governments. One possble reason is, If the government take this responsibility, it would be more transparent for that country residents. Also, the government can limit the budget and force researchers to make it happen with lilmited budget. It will help to lessen the overall cost and people get their treatments in as less as possible.

Additionally, some low-developed country like Bangladesh,Pakistan and Nepal depends on high-developed countries for higher medical treatment facilities. Consequently, their own medical sector stay behind and undeveloped. If they their own government search their solution by themselve, it will make them self-developed and selfe-dependent. On the other hand, they can provide research-center for their country students. As a result, they can build their medical sector stronger, make ilfe easy for their residents, gaitn trusr and encourage students to research and develop their country alongside.

In conclusion, considering the factors discussed above, the effect and cost of private companie actually carry general people. The Governmen should take this responsibility and make life easy for all because treatment is a fundamental for all human being.,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe governments, rather than private companies or individuals, should conduct medical research. You give relevant reasons, including affordability, transparency, and building domestic research capacity, and the Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal examples help connect the argument to developing countries. This addresses the task, although the comparison with individuals is not developed, and some claims—such as governments being able to control budgets and reduce treatment costs—need clearer explanation or support. The final paragraph restates your view but does not add much synthesis. To strengthen the response, explain how public funding would make research more accountable or accessible, and develop the contrast with private and individual research more evenly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for affordability and national research capacity, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from the cost of private research to the potential benefits of government involvement. Linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “Additionally,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “As a private companies are telling us the budget so that transparency are neglected” does not clearly show how the point follows from the previous sentence. The long final sentence in the fourth paragraph also combines several outcomes without a clear hierarchy. Use more precise referencing and divide chains of related claims into shorter, logically connected sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-relevant vocabulary, including “medical sector,” “transparency,” “treatment facilities,” and “self-dependent,” which shows an effort to discuss the issue beyond basic terms. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “government,” “make,” and “people,” while inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “medical researches,” “medical equipments,” “crossing ordinary peoples budget,” and “gaitn trusr.” These errors reduce precision even when the intended idea can be inferred. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for instance, use “medical research,” “medical equipment,” and “exceed ordinary people’s budgets.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at complex structures, including conditional sentences such as “If the government take this responsibility” and “If they their own government search their solution.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent: verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries often need correction. For example, “medical research project should held” needs a passive construction (“should be conducted”), while “the government can limit the budget and force researchers” shifts into a claim that would benefit from clearer clause structure. Punctuation and capitalisation also interfere with readability, as in “It is a true fact that. some…” and the comma splice in the conclusion. Practise accurate passive forms, subject–verb agreement, and sentence punctuation while retaining your complex ideas.
