Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this era, several medical research projects are taking money by private sectors. In my perspective i think that research should be adopted by private companies individuals not by government. but there are also several compaines that are funded by government.
On the first hand, i would like to tell about my perspective or my opinion in that statement there are many companies in my home town that are depends on medical are funded by the individuals or by the chooses person. Secondly, Medical research projects are made by many local levels that government not allowed them they have no rights and not able to take any pany from the government beacuse they are illegal. Thirdly, the researchers open the medical complex for their business not to help the affected person due to the huge population. Lastly, the medical research projects are importants in this era because there are thousand of people that are affected by disease but unfortunately they was died due to the shortage of medical complex.
On the other hand, there are several medical research projects that are funded by the government because they all are choose by the government. In addition, the government only funded the companies that depend on or make by the government and who give tax to the government, government only give money to whom who gave back money with interest. Furthermore, the government sectors have the rights to take the benefits from the government instead of private companies. There are many relevant example from my own knowledge like people want to take money by their own but government said that if we give you money we must able to take money back with interest.
The final analysis of this statement are many health absorver tests are funded by individuals instead of government.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a preference for private companies and individuals in the opening, so your position is identifiable. However, the response only partially answers the choice in the prompt: it does not clearly explain whether individuals or private companies should lead research, and the later paragraph shifts to government funding without resolving the comparison. Several points are difficult to connect to the question, such as saying local projects are “illegal” or that researchers open complexes for business, and these claims are not supported with clear examples. The final sentence about tests funded by individuals does not summarise your argument. To strengthen the response, give a direct, consistent position and develop two relevant reasons with specific explanations or examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an opening, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the first hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding sentence, which gives it a basic overall shape. However, the progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from local companies to government restrictions, commercial motives, and disease-related deaths without showing how these points support one argument. The second paragraph also repeats “government” and presents claims whose relationship is unclear. Linking phrases such as “Secondly,” “Thirdly,” and “Furthermore” are used mechanically rather than to show precise logical connections. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain how each example supports it, and make the conclusion restate the position established in the introduction.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “medical research projects,” “funded,” “researchers,” and “disease,” so the reader can recognise the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. For example, “taking money by private sectors” does not naturally express receiving funding, while “medical complex” appears to mean a medical facility or research centre. “Health absorver tests” is also unclear, and “chooses person” does not communicate a precise source of funding. Spelling errors such as “compaines” and “beacuse” further reduce control. Build a more accurate set of phrases for funding, research institutions, and public health, and check spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with connectors such as “because,” “that,” and “if,” showing some range. Meaning is often recoverable, but errors in sentence structure and basic grammar are frequent. For example, “companies … are depends” combines incompatible verb forms, and “they was died” has incorrect agreement and verb construction. The opening also contains a run-on sequence—“In my perspective i think … government. but…”—with inconsistent capitalisation and punctuation. Articles, plurals, and subject–verb agreement are also unreliable. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using one subordinate clause at a time; proofread for verb forms, agreement, sentence boundaries, and capital letters.
