INTRODUCTION:

This graph gives us the information about the carbon-dioxide that how is important for our body.Carbon dioxide plays an important role in regulating human breathing and maintaining the body's pH balance.

It also illustrates the overall percentage over the period from 1967 to 2007.

Carbon dioxide which is very important for control the blood presure. This graph tell us the total percentage of four countries. In United Kingdom its peak value is in year 1977 and then its value gradually decreases after the year.In Sweden its peak value go in year 1977 and then its value gradually decreases after the year.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0

The response fails to address the task correctly. The prompt asks for a summary of carbon dioxide emissions data from a graph; however, the student provides a medical explanation of the role of carbon dioxide in human breathing and blood pressure, which is entirely irrelevant to the task. While the student does eventually mention the countries and trends in the final paragraph, the majority of the content is off-topic. The main features of the graph are not clearly reported, and the analysis is heavily distracted by external, incorrect information. To improve, focus strictly on the data provided in the visual aid and avoid introducing outside knowledge.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks logical progression. The introduction and body paragraphs are dominated by irrelevant medical information rather than a summary of the graph. Paragraphing is present, but the content within the paragraphs does not follow a logical flow related to the data. Cohesive devices are used in a very mechanical and repetitive way, such as the frequent use of 'its peak value go in year'. There is no clear structure to guide the reader through the trends shown in the graph. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear purpose related to the data and use a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. The student relies on basic phrasing such as 'peak value', 'gradually decreases', and 'total percentage'. There are also errors in word choice, such as 'go in year' instead of 'occurred in' or 'reached a peak in'. The vocabulary is not suited to an academic report on data trends. To improve, learn specific collocations for describing graphs, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'experienced a significant decline', and avoid using informal or irrelevant terminology.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('This graph tell us', 'its peak value go'), tense usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, such as 'This graph gives us the information about the carbon-dioxide that how is important for our body.' The lack of control over basic sentence construction makes the writing difficult to follow. To improve, focus on mastering simple sentence structures before attempting complex ones, and pay close attention to verb tenses and pluralization.
