in this graph firtly discuss about them United Kingdom such as the emission of the cardon dioxide in 1967 that was more then 10 in metric cubic tone. In 2007 that can decrease into them less then 10 metric tone. In UK, the concentration of the carbon dioxde can decrease after 1967.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers all four countries mentioned in the graph, but the analysis is superficial and lacks a clear overview of the main trends. While you identify some data points, you fail to effectively group the countries by their trends (e.g., those that increased versus those that decreased). The inclusion of external information about 'population and harvesting of trees' in the conclusion is inappropriate for an IELTS Academic Task 1, as you must only report the information provided in the graph. To improve, focus on identifying the overall trends and comparing the countries rather than listing data points for each one individually.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is repetitive and mechanical, such as starting every sentence with 'In [country]'. There is a lack of linking words to connect ideas or show relationships between the data sets. The referencing is often unclear, and the overall structure feels like a list of observations rather than a cohesive summary. To improve, use a wider variety of transition signals (e.g., 'In contrast', 'Meanwhile', 'Conversely') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear thematic focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with frequent errors in spelling and word choice (e.g., 'cabon', 'countery', 'firtly', 'Itely', 'Portagal'). You rely heavily on basic verbs like 'discuss' and 'increase/decrease' without using more precise academic vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'fluctuated', 'peaked', or 'remained stable'. The misuse of terms like 'metric cubic tone' indicates a lack of familiarity with the appropriate terminology for data reporting. You need to expand your range of vocabulary and pay closer attention to spelling to avoid impeding the reader's understanding.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often make the text difficult to follow. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure (e.g., 'the graph below shows the average concentration cabon dioxide that can emit per person'). Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, lacking the complexity required for higher bands. You should focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb tenses, and improving your control over prepositions and articles before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
