The graph below shows average carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per person in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The graph illustrates the portion of average carbon dioxide get emitted by per human in four different countries among the year of 1967 to 2007.
Overall, we can see that Carbon emission is reducing in two countries United Kingdom and Sweden while in Italy and Portugal's people carbon emission is facing dramatically increased throughout the 40 years period.
From 1967 to 1977, Sweden, Italy, Portugal all these three countries emission is gradually raising compared to United Kingdom, in this country started to drop the emission from the begining. United Kingdom maintained the drop of carbon emission till the year of 2007 and it reached near 9 metric tonnes. With this Sweden also faced a dramatically fall started in 1977 and it continued through 2007 and it reached the number around 5 metric tonnes which was less then united kingdom.
Italy and Portugual was increasing over the year 1987 and to 1997 and their value was around near 7 and 5 metric tones. Then both the country remain stable till 2007 and the stay at the 7 and 5 metric tonnes.
