The line graph illustrates information about majority carbon dioxied emissions each person in four nation from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, it can be seen that the proportions veried considerable among the categories. United Kingdom accounted for the largest share, whereas portugal represented smallest segment. The remaining categories occupied intermidate position with noticeable differences in magnitube.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the task partially, attempting to present an overview and select main trends from the chart. However, there are significant inaccuracies in reporting data, such as describing emissions in percentages (%) instead of metric tonnes, and misreading figures (e.g., claiming the UK started at roughly 11% when it was 10.8 metric tonnes, and stating Portugal grew from 1% to 5% when the actual values were 1.2 and 5.4 metric tonnes). The overview attempts to capture overall patterns, but the lack of accurate data reporting and limited development of the supporting points keep this part of the response restricted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has some overall organisation, with a discernible introduction, body paragraphs, and a concluding summary. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the logical flow is hindered by repetitive phrasing and inadequate or inaccurate cohesive devices. Referencing between sentences is sometimes unclear, and words like 'veried' and 'magnitube' reflect mechanical structuring rather than smooth transitions. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs lacks the control needed for a higher level.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Vocabulary is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic points about the graph. There are numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'carbon dioxied', 'nation', 'veried', 'intermidate', and 'magnitube'. The student attempts less common vocabulary like 'intermediate position' and 'magnitude', but these are marred by inaccuracies and non-standard collocations that cause some difficulty for the reader and obscure the precise reporting of data.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple phrasing and formulaic openings. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to ungrammatical constructions such as 'In United Kindom recorded highest figure approximately 11% in 1967,followed by rest of period decline around 8.5% in 2007.' Frequent errors in prepositions, article omission, and verb forms persist throughout the text, causing strain and difficulty for the reader.
