Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You refer to both views and give a personal position, especially when you say that language helps people meet needs and communicate after moving abroad. However, the discussion is incomplete: the first view is not clearly presented as the claim that travel and work are the only reasons to learn, and the second view is supported mainly by translation apps and short-term travel. These points need fuller explanation and relevant examples. Your response contains 186 words, so it is 64 words below the 250-word minimum; the 24 words copied from the prompt are excluded. This limits how fully you can address and develop the task. State your opinion clearly and support each side with a developed example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to move from reasons for learning a language to reasons beyond travel and work, and phrases such as “But the other side” signal a change in viewpoint. However, the response is difficult to follow because ideas are crowded together, with no clear paragraphing and several abrupt or incomplete transitions. For example, “At my opinion” introduces a new point about moving abroad, while “Because some people is not learning easly” does not clearly connect to the claim about other reasons. Organise the essay into an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Use linking phrases to show how each example supports the point, and make references such as “these” explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “foreign language,” “culture,” “environment,” “historical places,” and “translating languages,” so the topic is generally identifiable. However, the range is basic and several word choices or spellings make meaning less clear, such as “serviving,” “explort,” “litlebit,” and “traveling history.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “meet your needs” in this context and “get litlebit know about thet country.” Aim for accurate topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. For instance, you could describe communication, employment opportunities, cultural understanding, or language-learning applications more precisely, rather than repeating “important” and “some people.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, such as “When you don't know another language, how to finde a job for yourself or meet your needs.” However, this example is not a complete grammatical sentence, and errors in sentence formation and agreement occur throughout. In “some people is not learning,” the subject and verb do not agree; “there is many app” also needs plural agreement. Several sentences run together, as in “understand. At my opinion,” and punctuation spacing and sentence boundaries are inconsistent. Practise forming complete clauses, using correct subject–verb agreement, and separating ideas with full stops. A wider range of accurate sentence patterns would make your reasoning easier to follow.
