Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both views and give a personal position: the introduction says language learning supports “personal, educational” aims and job opportunities, while the conclusion highlights knowledge and communication. However, the reasons are only partly developed. The employment paragraph gives a relevant example about students in Bangladesh, but the travel point is brief, and the second view focuses mainly on cultural learning without explaining the educational or personal benefits mentioned in your position. The response also contains 236 words, so it is 14 words below the required minimum; 17 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or example, and ensure the response meets the minimum length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This makes the two views easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “Additionally,” and “For instance.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the travel sentence follows the employment example without a clear connection, and the second body paragraph moves from cultural knowledge to social-media exchanges rather abruptly. Some references, such as “these” and “this nations language,” are not fully clear. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect each example explicitly to that point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “international companies,” “communicate,” “lifestyle,” “culture,” and “traditional food,” which helps convey your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “another countries,” “well jobs,” “costumars,” and “entitely rely.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “overseas language” and “better quality jobs.” Build a more accurate set of expressions for language learning, employment, and cultural exchange, and check spelling carefully. More precise collocations would make your ideas clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Although, travelling and emplyees are crucial reasons” and a conditional idea beginning “When people visit other countries.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “international companies offers” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “people who have another language skill, they can get chance” combines structures incorrectly. The sentence beginning “On of the crucial advantage” also has problems with number and construction. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear subject and verb, then check agreement and article use.
