In today`s rapidly evolving world some individuals believe that learning international language travel or work. This has sparked a considerable debate among individuals and experts alike. There are valid arguments both in support of and against this view. It remains a matter of personal values, social priorities, and broader global trends. Some people are inclined to believe that foreign language help in trips or in business . Whereas, others argue that why people should learn learn a foreign language. This essay will explain both perspectives in detail before presenting a reasoned conclusion based on logical analysis and practical implications.

To begin with, those who support the idea that international language is important for professional development and educational purpose. Often point to several compelling reasons. One of the prominent arguments is that it can lead to business on large scale and we can earn more money which in turn contributes to long term individuals and societal growth. For example, numerous studies have shown that in China they promote learning another language to their citizen. It has contributed to economic growth. Ultimately resulting in improved outcome across various field.

On the other hand, there is a strong case to be made for opposing perspective. Which can cause unintended consequences and practical limitations. For instance, there are countless examples where demonstrating that this route is may not always be effective.

To conclude, it is evident that both perspectives on their right hold significant weight and deserve thought full reflection. While there are undeniable advantages to travel, educational and in social work the concerns raised who support people need to consider other things for learning English cannot be overlooked. Personally, I`m of the opinion that educate yourself in international language is best decision in life as it strikes a fair balance between practicality and idealism.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development of ideas is limited and often vague. While you mention professional development and economic growth, the supporting examples—such as the brief mention of China—lack sufficient detail to fully support your points. Furthermore, the second body paragraph is underdeveloped; it fails to clearly articulate what the 'other reasons' for learning a language are, leaving the reader to guess. To improve, ensure that each paragraph contains a clear topic sentence followed by specific, well-explained examples that directly relate to the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the sentence 'Whereas, others argue that why people should learn learn a foreign language' is grammatically fragmented and lacks a clear connection to the previous thought. Additionally, some transitions feel forced or repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'conversely') and ensure that referencing between sentences is precise and logical.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'good decision' or 'other countries tongue'. There are also issues with word formation and collocation, such as 'educate yourself in international language' instead of 'learning a foreign language'. To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to the topic of linguistics or global communication to demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'learning international language'), subject-verb agreement errors, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'Often point to several compelling reasons'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of backticks instead of standard apostrophes. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms.
