Some people argue the reasons of learning foreign language when they have to travel the specific country while others say there are other reasons as well i firmly contend with former view so this essay shall analyze both views.
If we talk german language which is quite different and no one learn it easily unless they have a purpose like they got a job there or they have to travel for some reason so they have to fullfill the basic requirement of language eventually they will try to be proficient in order to look distinct or to get promotion later on they will explore the country really well because of the communication skills. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both views, but the development is inconsistent. While you mention travel and work, the discussion of 'other reasons' is somewhat superficial. The introduction states you contend with the 'former view' (that language is only for travel/work), but your body paragraphs actually provide arguments for the 'latter view' (other reasons), creating a contradiction. The conclusion is also abrupt and lacks a clear summary of your own opinion. To improve, ensure your position is consistent throughout and provide more detailed, logical support for each argument rather than listing points like 'curiosity' or 'intelligence' without explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is weak. The transition between the introduction and the body is abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is mechanical. For example, the use of 'Lastly' appears twice in the third paragraph, and the final sentence of that paragraph is incomplete. Referencing is often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to your main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. You rely on basic terms like 'reasons', 'learn', and 'good'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'rich flavour meals' instead of 'cuisine' or 'gastronomy', and 'explorer' used as a verb instead of 'explore'. Some phrasing is unnatural, such as 'fullfill the basic requirement of language'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to the topic of language acquisition and cultural exchange.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include missing articles (e.g., 'talk german language'), subject-verb agreement errors (e.g., 'tv shows which has gained'), and run-on sentences that lack proper punctuation. The sentence structure is often fragmented, particularly in the third paragraph. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and pay closer attention to punctuation, especially the use of full stops to separate distinct ideas.
