Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention travel, work, and cultural benefits, the arguments lack depth and specific supporting evidence. For instance, the point about 'brain memory' is underdeveloped. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and fully explains the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims. The conclusion is also incomplete, as it cuts off mid-sentence, which impacts the overall task completion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'i argued that' used repeatedly or the awkward transition 'To conclude the whole topic'. There are issues with sentence-level cohesion, where ideas within paragraphs do not always flow logically. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the lack of a finished conclusion significantly disrupts the coherence of the final section. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help your ideas connect more smoothly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'important' and 'good' and struggle with collocations, such as 'employed who can speak international client' (should be 'employees who can communicate with international clients'). There are also spelling errors like 'kearn' and 'Japaneses'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure correct word forms and collocations are used consistently throughout your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but grammatical errors are frequent and pervasive. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('other believes', 'Many Pakistani learns'), article usage ('in modern world'), and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is usually clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement.
