Student answer (Band 6.0)
English language is an International Language which is must to speak for all over the world. In most of the countries where we apply for job or for study, it is considered a best language to communicate and for speaking at working place. Even our educational slybus are also consisted on english based subjects.
Some Individauls consider that this International language is must for working in abroad and for traveling in another country. on the other hand few think that this is not merely a reason for learning english. However in my opinion it improves ourselves and also gives confidence when we speak. and in context of going abroad it can be considered must because when we have to work/study in abroad, we can communicate only when we have command to native english speaking. for instance when i went on Umrah, in UAE ther is mostly Arabic language is spoken best and they also unerstands this too but few can understnd English too, i was needed to buy milk for my younger baby when i spoke in English he understood what i want to buy. and he gave me a pack of milk. Likethis IELTS have became necessary for most of countries in context of speaking.
I will conclude this essay with that English should be taught to everyone and it should be getting command on by all students and other people because when we travel in abroad, it is just a wy in which we can convey our message to others

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. The discussion of the second view (reasons other than travel/work) is underdeveloped, as the essay focuses heavily on the necessity of English for communication. The example provided regarding the experience in the UAE is relevant but lacks the depth required for a higher band score. To improve, you should expand on the cognitive or cultural benefits of learning a language, rather than focusing solely on the practical utility of English for travel and employment.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is somewhat disjointed. While there are some cohesive devices used, such as 'on the other hand' and 'however', they are sometimes used incorrectly or in a way that does not clearly link the ideas. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Furthermore, the concluding paragraph is quite weak and does not effectively summarise the main points discussed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision expected at higher levels. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'educational slybus are also consisted on' and 'getting command on'. Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'Individauls', 'unerstands', and 'wy'. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct collocations. Avoid repetitive phrasing and try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms for common words like 'important' or 'necessary'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('educational slybus are'), article usage ('an International Language'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which makes the text difficult to follow at times. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often marred by errors that impede clarity. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions. Proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb tenses will also help improve your accuracy.
