IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, the educations play an important role in every person life. Some individuals believe that international language is order to travel or job in a native countries. However, these are not only causes why someone have learn a international language. In this essay I will explain both views and give my own opinion before conclusion paragraphs.
On the one hand, people can learn foreign language because it is easier for communicate with foreign people. when people can travel or work abroad they can easily talk with residents. To explain, it is easier for individuals such as food orders, payments in hotels and motels and so on. Another benefits of employees si that if they can speak foreign language , it is starting their career opportunities for them . Workers can communicate with foreign customers and colleagues. It may be especially some fields such as It, business, and travelling companies. For instance, in the Indian plenty of men and women who are learning native languages just because it is easier communications and career opportunities.
On the other hand, someone should learn a foreign language other purposes such as education and personal developments.
To explain, some people learn native language education purposes, they can learn basic steps such as grammar rules. Moreover, if people can communicate foreign language they can develop personal growth. In addition, sometimes people can watch other language tv shows because of entertainment purposes. For example, in the USA citizens generally may be watch Spanish reality shows on the television for entertainment purposes.
In my opinion, although learning foreign languages are highly beneficial for traveling or workplaces. There are some other purposes such as education personal development and entertainment .
In conclusion, there are several reasons why people learning foreign language because it is easy way to communicate and career opportunities. However, there are some other reasons such as study, entertainments and personal raises.

Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'Another benefits of employees si that...', where the connection to the previous point is weak. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the flow of your writing significantly.
