The general perspective is why people learn different languages that, they think the only reason is travel to the other countries or work abroad. Although, that one of that main reasons but not the only way. For instance, someone who speaks Spanish well. He can communicate well with the local people of Latin American countries. Regarding directions , food , unexpected situations without using any translation app. Secondly, International companies also prefer those who knows more than one language. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, covering travel/work benefits and cognitive/cultural advantages. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of how language learning improves 'mental skills' is quite brief and could benefit from more specific elaboration. While the prompt is fully addressed, the supporting arguments lack depth in places, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. The position is consistent throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'For instance', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. There are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as the sentence 'Although, that one of that main reasons but not the only way,' which lacks a clear subject. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints, contributing to an overall coherent structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'globalized' and 'intellectual', but there are also frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'duel languages' (likely meaning 'dual' or 'multiple') and 'leaning' instead of 'learning'. Some phrasing is awkward, such as 'upskill the educational', which is grammatically and lexically imprecise. The range is sufficient to convey meaning, but the errors occasionally distract the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('Learning foreign languages are', 'Learning multiple languages are') and article usage ('the only reason for learning multiple languages are'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors limits the score. More attention to proofreading for subject-verb agreement and basic sentence construction is needed.
