Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding language as an 'art' or 'emotion' are somewhat abstract and lack concrete, well-supported examples. The discussion on why people learn languages for work or travel is also quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and specific, real-world examples rather than just stating your observations. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the points discussed in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Although,There is number of peoples' and 'Moreover, There is a lot of peoples' show a lack of control over linking words and punctuation. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the third paragraph where the transition from the general concept of language as art to the specific example of a friend is abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of transition signals would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'percption', 'launguage', 'institude', and 'effection' (used instead of 'affection' or 'interest'). The range of vocabulary is basic, and there is a lack of precision in word choice. For instance, 'a lot of' is used repeatedly, which limits the sophistication of the essay. To improve, you should focus on learning more academic collocations and synonyms to express your ideas more precisely and avoid basic spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('Every person have', 'he learn urdu'), article usage ('is a art'), and sentence structure. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is often incorrect, particularly with the placement of commas after introductory words. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement.
