Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals think that the learning of advanced English language is necessary for travel and work in abroad countries and some people says that not, so various reasons to learn or not foreign language. This will be discussed in upcoming paragraph.
To start with, English language is necessary for all humans because they were talk to each person in foreign when people plan to a abroad countries it should learnt many skills and languages because they help for their work and success in abroad. If international people do not know how we say it can be confused if they will be learn their advanced English it were very helpful for their. For example, in every year many of peoples going abroad for higher jobs and they can struggle before interview or offer letter from national companies.
Furthermore, people do not talk very easily for foreign peoples when they going for travelling. Foreigners will not absorb their thinks whose were need. Many of times people do not buy any things to a store because of us the workers of store do not understand those talks or thoughts and it will be don't enjoy in abroad and their full intentions of knowing or exploring different things all are worthless. For example, various types of private companies send offer letters in every year and they will check it was perfect or not for their company it will check their level of English language.
To conclude, English language for humans is must important because of their nation success and to growing economy if they work in abroad they pay taxes to their countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views mentioned in the prompt, though the development of ideas is limited. You discuss the necessity of language for work and travel, but the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. The second view—that there are other reasons to learn a language (such as cognitive benefits or cultural appreciation)—is not clearly explored, as the essay focuses almost exclusively on employment and travel. Your position is stated in the conclusion, but it would be more effective to state it clearly in the introduction. To improve, ensure you provide distinct, well-supported arguments for both sides of the debate rather than focusing on a single perspective.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'To start with' and 'Furthermore' are used, but the internal flow of sentences is frequently disrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'Foreigners will not absorb their thinks whose were need,' where the meaning is difficult to track. To improve, focus on using transition words more naturally and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'necessary,' 'work,' and 'abroad' throughout the text. There are also frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'abroad countries' (instead of 'foreign countries') and 'absorb their thinks' (which is unclear). Some attempts at more complex vocabulary are unsuccessful, leading to confusion. To reach a higher band, you should work on using a wider range of vocabulary, including collocations and topic-specific terminology, and ensure that words are used in their correct context to convey your meaning precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
There is a lack of control over basic grammatical structures. Frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, and sentence construction significantly impede communication. Examples include 'they were talk to each person,' 'it will be don't enjoy,' and 'English language for humans is must important.' These errors occur throughout the essay and make it difficult for the reader to understand your points. You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often result in grammatical breakdown. Focusing on mastering basic sentence patterns and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will be essential for improvement.
