Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, reaching only 120 words. Consequently, the task is only partially addressed. The introduction attempts to outline the two views, but the essay is cut off abruptly in the first body paragraph. Because the response is incomplete, it is impossible to evaluate the development of ideas or the presentation of a clear position throughout the essay. The failure to meet the minimum length requirement is a major constraint that prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay shows an attempt at logical organization with an introduction and the start of a body paragraph. However, due to the incomplete nature of the text, there is no overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'In this contemporary society' and 'At the outset' are used, but the abrupt ending makes it impossible to assess the effectiveness of paragraphing or the overall flow of the argument. The structure is currently too fragmented to demonstrate coherent development.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and contains several errors in word choice and collocation. For example, 'learning new languages is become' is grammatically incorrect, and 'obtain the erudition' is an unnatural, overly formal collocation. Phrases like 'do job in a international organisation' show a lack of precision. While the student attempts to use some academic vocabulary, the frequent errors and limited range hinder the overall quality of the expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('is become'), incorrect preposition usage ('reason for obtain'), and article errors ('a international organisation'). The sentence structures are relatively simple, and the lack of completion prevents the demonstration of a wider range of complex structures. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods.
