Student answer (Band 5.0)

In today's world, half of the people who think learning a foreign language is useful are those who travel or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons to learn a foreign language. I will discuss this in Furthering paragraphs.

On the one hand, I Believe that learning a foreign language should be most important during in aboard or conversation between a foreign person or if we work in a foreign country because in a Foreign country, they need that persons who easier talk with foreign person during the work. For a prime example, Amazon needs that person who know all about foreign language. Because this company needs that person who actually good in conversation. Furthermore, people more knowledge about the culture and have a good conversation with each other.

On the other hand, those people who say that learning a foreign is one reason. They believe that only foreign learning does not close they own relationships. They Believe's that human nature is a key factor in his or her life. For example talking about those who learn about that language they get some attitude and should not respect people. they think that i am not a common man.

Conclusion, neither approach should be considered completely senior, Although, some people learn foreign learning to improve her knowledge and provide that he is not a common man

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you attempt to address both views, the arguments are underdeveloped and often unclear. For instance, the second body paragraph is difficult to follow, and the connection between 'human nature' and learning a language is not logically explained. The position is somewhat unclear due to the lack of depth in the reasoning. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you meet the minimum length requirement to allow for full task development.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as 'In Furthering paragraphs' or 'Conclusion, neither approach...'. Referencing is also problematic; for example, the phrase 'those people who say that learning a foreign is one reason' is grammatically incomplete and confusing. Paragraphing is present, but the internal logic within the paragraphs is weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'person' and 'foreign language' without demonstrating a wider range of academic vocabulary. There are also several word-choice errors, such as 'completely senior' (likely meant 'superior') and 'foreign learning' (instead of 'language learning'). These errors occasionally impede communication, as the intended meaning of your sentences is not always clear. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoid repeating the same basic nouns and verbs throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('They Believe's that'), article usage ('in a Foreign country'), and sentence structure ('Amazon needs that person who know all about foreign language'). Complex sentence structures are attempted but are often faulty, leading to confusion. While simple sentences are generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the text from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
