IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, numerous individuals believe that the only reason for learning a international language is owing to travel or employment in that nation.while others assume that these are not onlu the causes that someone should learn a foreigh language.Therefore, ahead of my opinion, both the views will discuss further.
To commence, learning a language for travelling or work assist to communicate easily.To elaborate, if a inhabitant know to speak particular country language ,then there will no difficulty to do anything and they will easily familiar of their culture or tradition.For instance individual who can communicate english will easily survive in english speaking country
Furthermore, highlighting other view. this is not only reason citizens should learn a foreign language. in many college or universities there are different nation language is teached.For example in almost each and every school in india english is a primary language.Moreover, tourist will easily communicate because if public can speak any language.
To concluse and offer my position, there are convincing arguements both for against of learning a foreign language.Intially, it will benefit people to communicate easily when there are travelling or working.Yet it will also favourable for nations citizens because with the assist of this theey can help tourists as well as they will develop their communication skill.
