Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this morden era where learning different foregin languages are very importent not for only working or travel but also have accommodation in forgin country and mixup with the country culter etctera.
According to first goup of people belive that learning foregin language for only work in foregin and travel purpose only but the thing is that if u are going for only wokring purpose so there is no need to learn in deep for particular language. in gulf country where so many people travel for only labur work or factory work where foreign language uses on very low base. where u do not need to intracting more pepole. mostly worker are not even graduated so its also very hard to learn new foreign language and when go for travel purpose where u can bring translater or guide for know more about the place or country.
As per the second group view people think that there so many other reasons like for study, for accommodation, for business etcetara. there is so many people that are go abroad for study so for them learning foregin language is must compulsory. the people who go abroad for business purpose if they want to get or creack deal they need to understand different language is also complusory. the people who want stay in abroad for permnently and mixup with different culter and connected or communicate with different country people they must to learn foreign language.
In my opinion i am agree with second view because leraning new languages gives more confidence, able understand situation and learn new things quickly thats kind of benifits we get from learning new lanuage.
conclusion that r learning a foreign language is vey good for all pepole who want to travel abrod only for travel or for work no matter. learning new lanugage is great for evry one.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the task by discussing the views that foreign language learning is exclusively for travel/work versus the perspective that there are other reasons, and the writer provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For instance, the discussion of the first view relies heavily on sweeping statements about labor workers and translators without fully exploring the nuances of why people might learn a language for travel or employment. The arguments remain at a surface level, resulting in under-developed support. According to the band descriptors, this performance aligns best with Band 5 because the task is addressed, but the ideas are limited and lack deeper extension or thorough support throughout the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some organizational structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing the separate viewpoints, a personal opinion, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is hampered by a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices and frequent mechanical or inadequate transitions. Words like "According to first goup", "As per the second group view", and "In my opinion i am agree" are used repetitively and clumsily. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is weak due to run-on structures and unclear referencing (e.g., "where u do not need to intracting more pepole"). This level of cohesion and paragraphing reflects Band 5, as there is a clear attempt to organize ideas, but the links between sentences and clauses are frequently faulty or repetitive.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling errors ("morden", "foregin", "importent", "culter", "etctera", "permnently", "benifits"). The student attempts some less common items such as "accommodation", "confidence", and "mixup", but these are often used with incorrect collocations or imprecise word choice (e.g., "have accommodation in forgin country and mixup with the country culter"). While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, the numerous lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes cause noticeable strain for the reader, placing the response firmly at Band 4 in terms of lexical range and accuracy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The writer utilizes a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple clauses strung together with coordinating conjunctions or relative pronouns, often resulting in ungrammatical run-on sentences (e.g., "In this morden era where learning different foregin languages are very importent not for only working or travel but also have accommodation..."). There is a persistent lack of basic subject-verb agreement and incorrect verb forms throughout the text. Complex structures are attempted, but they are almost always faulty. Because the errors are frequent, highly noticeable, and occasionally obscure the intended meaning, this performance corresponds to Band 4.
