IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

yes ,some people might think they learn any foreign language for working or tavel there is the main segment and significane for learning language as well as understood foreign languages because it is crucial for every person who wants settle in his disreable country to move there he or she would strict band to laern this country official language for communication and making their good relations with them ,example A friend of mine who is recently travel italy for his higher studies he practiced and learned italain in pakistan apparently, he got benefit of it he crack interview there also having meaningful terms with his colleagues and staff he also embarced good position in italy due to its communication skills that he already learned here.

Another reason to learn a foreign language is to understand that country traditional values as well as behaviour of the people and their aims and objective society ,if a person who has hobby to learn new languages and wanted to study diiferent culture and beliefs then he would definietly learn and observed foreign langugae without these tricks and tackles he cant even convey his message and explore this country cannot disversify and communicated in proper channel.

Example ,Our class lecturer sir M ali bhatti who is masters in Linguistics from renowed university of Germany got this opportunity in free because he loved and learned german in his child hood with out any help when he discuss hs potential of learning german the german embassy in Pakistan offered him multiple visa plus fully funded master programmas with multiple benefits and he assumed and accepted this opportunity only by his un intentional love for learning language with out greed .
