Some Individuals say that only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in another country, while others peples say that these are not only the reasons why someone should memorize another language.
On the one hand, its a positive thing to learn another language because another new things provide u alot of opportunities like the way if a student travel to abroad they didn't knew about our nation language, they suffer from alot of difficulties. The 1st thing is that if u are selected for our master programme from your desire university so u have to first perpare IELTS test because this tezst is very important for our your future. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially. While both views are mentioned to some extent, the position is not always clear throughout the essay. Ideas presented are limited and frequently under-developed. For instance, the discussion regarding travelling to Indonesia, Thailand, or Maldives mentions that individuals do not know about culture speak and suffer from difficulties, but this point lacks sufficient extension and clear connection to the prompt's core question. Furthermore, some parts of the response drift into discussing general exam preparation like the IELTS test rather than strictly focusing on the reasons for learning a foreign language. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to fully develop all parts of the task with extended explanations and well-supported arguments rather than relying on brief, generalised statements.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some organisation with basic paragraphing, but there is no clear overall progression throughout the text. Cohesive devices are often inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on transitional phrases like 'On the one hand', 'On the another hand', and 'In conclusion'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow of ideas. For example, sentences within the body paragraphs often string multiple clauses together with conjunctions rather than creating a smooth logical progression. To improve in this area, the writer should use a wider variety of cohesive devices more accurately and ensure each paragraph has a clear central topic that links logically to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The lexical resource is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include terms like 'peples', 'memorize' instead of 'learn', 'tezst', 'perpare', 'tecnology', and 'proudy'. Additionally, collocations are frequently unnatural, such as 'culture speak'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary related to business and travel, inaccuracies in form impede precision. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their vocabulary range, learn the correct word forms, and pay closer attention to accurate spelling and contextual word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences or faulty attempts at complex ones. Frequent errors in grammar are present throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('people say', 'technologies has'), incorrect article usage ('the another country language'), and problems with prepositions and pronoun referencing ('our self', 'our country language'). These frequent errors can cause difficulty and strain for the reader. To move up to the next band, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of complex sentence structures while significantly improving grammatical accuracy, ensuring that basic agreements, tenses, and sentence boundaries are handled correctly.
