Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays foreign language has become a widely debated issue. While, individual believe that second language learn for who has going to work other country, other argue that this are several reason that people should learn other language. In this essay, I will discuss both perpectives before giving my own view.
On the one hand, many people believe that only worker should learn other native language. This is because they should earn more money for another nation. As a result, people who has contributed for their family expenses. In addition, they can also learn different culture and more advance work exprienced, when they back for their country to higher chance to more opportunity job market. For example, In Bangladesh many worker learn aradic language so that they could income more money and also exprienced after a decades they come from they are country to build their own busniess.
On the other hand, other argue that their other sources to learn second language. The main reason for this is that modern days students should learn to going overseas for completing their educations. Consequently, they should gather knowledge about advance technology and culture. Furthermore, tourist and global business another wat to communicate other country poeple to build their relationship. Most of the people nowadays learn for a different purpose to learn foreign language. For instance, many countries students learn english languge and they should takke a exam for english proficiency and get sartificate after that they go to choose they desirable country.
In my own view, although i strongly believe that it is not just working purpose people learn other native language. There is because people have right choose path why they learn different language. However, i do agree that varied reason to knowledge about second language.
In conclusion, both views have valid points, while only reason for work to learn foreign language, I am not convinced that because people learn several way for other language. Therefore, in the future people learn differentt point of views.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that foreign languages are learned solely for travel or work, and that there are other reasons—alongside a personal opinion. However, some ideas are under-developed or lack clarity. For instance, the discussion on why workers learn Arabic in Bangladesh or the mention of students going overseas lacks thorough extension and strong supporting evidence. The position is discernible throughout the essay, but the arguments remain somewhat limited and repetitive, preventing the response from reaching a higher level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing both views, a personal opinion, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately to separate distinct points. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty, with awkward transitions such as 'In this essay, I will discuss both perpectives' and repetitive use of transitional phrases like 'On the other hand' and 'Furthermore'. Referencing is not always clear, which slightly disrupts the smooth logical progression between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used provides an adequate range for the task, successfully conveying basic ideas about language learning and employment. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items, such as 'proficiency' and 'desirable', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling, such as 'perpectives', 'aradic', 'income' instead of 'earn', 'wat', and 'sartificate'. These lexical inaccuracies occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and reflect a limited vocabulary control typical of this level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying on a mix of simple sentences and attempts at complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are recurrent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions, such as 'individual believe that second language learn', 'people who has contributed', and 'they should takke a exam'. These frequent grammatical errors interfere with sentence clarity and can cause difficulty for the reader, though the basic meaning remains mostly retrievable.
