Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals say that the mere cause for learning a abroad language is in order to visit or work in a foreign country. Others say that there are not the only reasons why anyone must learn a foreign language. In my opinion, learning a foreign language opens up so many opportunity to work or explore the world with different perspective.
Definately, language is the only way to express their concepts, talk to others and it guides how to explore the culture of other foreign country. people how visit the world learn foreign language, so that they can talk with foreign community, ask for help listen their traditional values and see the foreign country with different windows. Additionally, learning a new language other than mother tangue assist to update about the other country news, economic conditions and many more. For example, mostly people in Pakistan learn to English language becuase it is widely recognized in the world. Significant number of companies in the world adopted the foreign it gives a chance of employment to those people who have good in communication.
Others said that people should not learn language instead there is a valid reason, they don't need learn any other language. I totally disagree with their view point, they should learn languange to perform excellent in their exams now mostly papers are taken in foreign language. In corporate life most work are done in any other language as you have to communicate with foreign people, so you most learn the foreign language. China is a prime instance its language is different from any other language, if you want to make a business relation you must learn the Chinese languae.
In conclusion, learning a foreign language is beneficial for obtaining a opportunity to work across the world, you see the world from different angles. while other believe that is not necessary to learn a new language but its think is wrong.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear opinion that language learning has benefits beyond simply travelling or working abroad, and you include relevant points about cultural understanding, communication and business. The examples of Pakistanis learning English and the need for Chinese in business help connect your ideas to the topic. However, the two views are not discussed in a balanced or fully clear way: the paragraph beginning “Others said” appears to describe people who oppose learning languages, rather than explaining the view that travel and work are the only reasons to learn one. Several claims, such as language helping people understand news and economic conditions, are introduced but not explained. Clarify each side’s reasoning and develop your examples to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so there is a basic structure, and signposts such as “Additionally,” “For example” and “In conclusion” help show relationships between points. However, progression within and between paragraphs is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph moves from travel and culture to news, English and employment without clearly linking these points. The opening of the second paragraph, “Others said that people should not learn language,” does not clearly connect to the opposing view in the question. Some linking is also mechanical, and the conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the discussion together. Organise each paragraph around one clear view, then use explicit references and transitions to show how each example supports it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “traditional values,” “economic conditions,” “employment” and “business relation,” and some choices communicate relevant ideas. However, the range is limited and errors in word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable, sometimes making meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “a abroad language,” “mother tangue,” “learn to English language” and “different windows.” Several phrases appear to be direct or inaccurate combinations rather than natural English, such as “the mere cause” and “a chance of employment.” Spelling errors such as “Definately,” “becuase” and “languae” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural collocations for language learning, travel and work, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “so that” and “if,” and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine several ideas often produce faulty sentences. For example, “people how visit the world learn foreign language” has problems with clause formation and missing grammatical elements, while “Significant number of companies in the world adopted the foreign it gives a chance” joins clauses without a clear grammatical connection. Agreement and sentence construction are also inconsistent in “most work are done” and “you most learn.” Use shorter, complete sentences when expressing a new point, and practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and clause boundaries before adding more complex structures.
