Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's contemporary society, the trend of multilingualism has been increased in local community, with the advent of technological advancements. Many individuals believe that understanding and grasping foreign language is generally required for travelling and study purposes. While, other contend that there are many other significant causes to gain experience in unfimiliar languages. From my perspective,There are various factors to achieve proficiency in overseas language rather than employment and travel aspects.
Generally, the unfimiliar language is imperative for one to comprehend, especially in order to travel. It offer closest insight to illustrious places in overseas countries with their historical knowledge, mentioned on itinerary. However, foreign language also plays pivotal role in finding job and to bring ease to one for creating opportunities in his career prospects. For instance, The company named Zerox is now offering work permit of 5 years in New Zealand with the requirement of 6.5 bands in IELTS. Therefore, it has become indispensable to gain knowledge about overseas language in order to enroll in their regional society.
Undoubtedly, There are multiple aspects to learn foreign language, i.e. to gain knowledge about education facilities and to broaden one's horizon about unfimiliar curtural heritage and practices. In addition, most of the students are now prefering to acheive the skill of multilingualism and the study abroad has become prevalent in modern society. To illustrate, Howard University of USA only accepts that kind of student, who has favourable sort of vocabulary and who can demonstrates good range of cohesion and grammatical accuracy in his English language skill.
In conclusion, The best approach is to learn multiple languages to gain two edge benefit in travel, employment, culture and education.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both views: travel and employment are covered in the second paragraph, while education and cultural understanding appear in the third. Your own position—that language learning has benefits beyond work and travel—is stated in the introduction and conclusion. These points address the task, but some are not fully developed. The travel point about understanding historical places is relevant, yet the employment example about a company and an IELTS requirement is not clearly explained or connected to the broader argument. The education example is also difficult to follow and does not convincingly show why language learning is valuable. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more directly and use examples that clearly support the point being made.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main direction of the discussion. You also use linking expressions such as “However,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion.” At times, though, connections feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “Therefore” does not clearly follow from the company example, and the transition from education to students studying abroad needs a more explicit explanation. Some sentences also combine several ideas, making the progression harder to track. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples to that point with clear explanations and more precise referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “multilingualism,” “proficiency,” “career prospects,” and “cultural heritage.” This shows an effort to use less common language, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision. Phrases such as “the trend of multilingualism has been increased,” “gain experience in unfamiliar languages,” and “two edge benefit” do not express the intended meanings naturally. There are also spelling errors, including “unfimiliar,” “curtural,” and “acheive.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than choosing elaborate wording: for example, say that multilingualism “has become more common” and that learners “develop proficiency” in a language. Proofreading spelling will also improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession structure beginning “While” and an example introduced by “For instance.” However, errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to follow. Examples include “It offer” instead of “It offers,” “plays pivotal role” instead of “plays a pivotal role,” and “most of the students are now prefering.” The sentence beginning “While, other contend” is also incomplete as written, and punctuation is inconsistent, particularly after sentence openings and around commas. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and complete clause structure, and keep complex sentences manageable. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to understand.
