Many people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country while others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.Whereas in my opinion yes its important to familer with the langauge where you moves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both views: the first body paragraph explains that language helps students and job-seekers communicate abroad, while the next gives reasons such as enjoying films and reading books about other cultures. Your opinion is present, especially in the opening and conclusion, but it is not consistently clear: “yes its important to familer with the langauge where you moves” mainly supports learning for relocation, while the conclusion says English is useful for broader knowledge. These ideas need a clearer, consistent position and fuller explanation with specific examples. The response also contains 204 words, below the required 250; 39 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. This limits the development of your arguments and means the task is only partially addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, separate discussion of the two views, an example, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main topics. However, progression between ideas is not always clear: the paragraph beginning “But many of them think” shifts from social benefits to television, books, and cultural knowledge without explaining how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “for example” and “In Conclusion” are used, but some transitions are awkward or repetitive, and the opening sentence runs directly into the writer’s opinion without clear punctuation. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use clearer references, and connect examples explicitly to the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “communicate,” “job opportunity,” “cultures,” and “international purpose,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to read, such as “familer,” “intrest,” “enjoyingable,” and “knowledged.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “in some new cases” and “deliver you ideas.” Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for the benefits of language learning would help you explain your ideas clearly without relying repeatedly on general words such as “help” and “different.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “If you are a student…” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors affect clarity. For example, “If you are a student or you looking” is missing a verb, while “learning different language also help” has problems with articles and subject–verb agreement. In “where you moves,” the verb form does not agree with the subject. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly in the opening. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation before adding more complex clauses.
