Student answer (Band 5.0)

People have different views about whether foregin langauge, some people believe that learning a international language is only for travel or work inforegin country, whereas other argue that these are not the only reason for learning a foregin language. This essay will discussed on both views.

On the one hand, a large number of individual believe that learning a foregin language is only for travel and work. This means that, tourists need to learn international langauge for travel all over the world. This is also suitable for employee who want to work in foregin country to make standard their life. For example, learning a foregin language for work or travel share their jounery and culture through citizens of that country. As a result, people can get any kind of information through international language and also share opinion thought and mindset.

On the other hand, other argue that language are not for only employe and tourist, however it also useful for international student. In other word, ungraduate students want to learn foregin language. This is beneficial for students who is going to abroad for study. For instance, pupils are going to abroad for geting a new kinds of knowledge through foregin language. Therefore, the authories of that nation also support international migrate student who wants to get degree from their university. I believe this statement is more convincial because of students can get offer to study their and get degree with good standard in life.

In conclusion, although learning a foregin language is not only for travel and work has some advantgae, however I believe that foregin langauge measure a issue of probelm of internation student.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both views by discussing language learning for travel and work, then for international study, and you state a preference for the second view. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because the reasons are limited and often unclear. The travel/work paragraph mentions sharing culture and information, but does not explain in detail why these purposes make language learning necessary. The student example is also narrow, and the conclusion—“foreign language measure a issue of problem of international student”—does not clearly restate your opinion. To strengthen the response, explain both viewpoints with specific, relevant reasons and examples, then express your position consistently and clearly from the introduction through the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These markers help readers identify the two views. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and several linking phrases do not show a clear relationship between ideas. For example, “For example” introduces a sentence about sharing a journey and culture, but the connection to the preceding point about employees is unclear. The conclusion also introduces an unclear idea rather than drawing the discussion together. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it in a logical sequence, and use linking expressions only when their relationship is accurate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “international student,” “degree,” “travel,” and “work,” and you attempt phrases such as “standard their life” and “share opinion.” However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation errors sometimes make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “foregin langauge,” “jounery,” “convincial,” and “international migrate student.” Some expressions, such as “make standard their life,” do not communicate the intended meaning naturally. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing language learning, education, employment, and cultural exchange, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer clear, familiar wording over ambitious phrases that are not yet controlled.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “whereas” and a conditional idea about students going abroad. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, verb forms, and articles occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “This essay will discussed” has an incorrect verb form, while “other argue that language are” has agreement errors. In “students who is going,” the relative clause also has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a supporting clause, then check verb forms and agreement. Greater control of these patterns would make your ideas clearer.
