Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both stated views and give a concluding position: the first body paragraph links language learning to work and travel, while the second introduces personal interest and healthcare. These are relevant points, but the response only partly develops them. For example, the work example explains that communication difficulties may arise, yet it does not show in detail why this makes work or travel the only reason to learn. The healthcare example is also asserted rather than supported with a specific situation. Your opinion is not fully clear: the conclusion says languages help professional fields and healthcare, but does not directly state whether you agree that travel and work are insufficient reasons. State your position explicitly and develop each main idea with a clear explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “However,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined mechanically or their relationship is unclear. For instance, “Another point get attention is to express any thing” does not clearly connect to the preceding point about work and tourism. The healthcare example also repeats the same communication problem without a clear step-by-step explanation. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then develop it in a logical sequence; make references such as “this” or “it” clearly identify the idea being discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “professional fields,” “passion,” “cultures,” and “health care practices.” However, the usable range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation problems sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “cruical role,” “knownleage,” “gel difficulty,” and “significantly for number of people.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “learning of foreign language” and “gain knowledge several person.” Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms. Aim to express the same ideas with precise, familiar vocabulary rather than attempting phrases whose meaning is unclear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if the patient have any kind of medical issue” and clauses beginning with “when” and “while.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries often make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “This essay will discussed” has an incorrect verb form, while “people who doesnot travel” has a subject–verb agreement error. Several sentences also run together after full stops, and capitalisation is inconsistent. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause. Check each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb, and appropriate punctuation.
