Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You introduce the topic and mention both travel/work and other reasons, but the discussion does not fully address both views. Most of the essay explains difficulties faced by people who do not know the local language, while the view that travel or employment is the only reason is not clearly examined or contrasted with other motivations. Your opinion appears at the end—learning a language can help someone get a good job or build a career—but it is brief and not supported with an example. The response also contains 202 words, below the required 250; the 13 words copied from the prompt are excluded. Develop both sides, state your position clearly, and add relevant explanation or examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, a sequence of supporting points, and a concluding opinion, so the reader can identify its general direction. Connectors such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” help signal additions. However, there is no clear paragraph devoted to the opposing view or to reasons for learning languages beyond travel and work, which limits the overall progression. Several points are crowded together in long, loosely connected sentences, and the repeated focus on obstacles makes the discussion feel repetitive. Organise the essay into distinct paragraphs for each view and your opinion, and use clearer links to show how each example supports the point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “language barrier,” “adapting new culture,” “homesickness,” and “employment,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts difficult to read, such as “sattled,” “Foreignner,” “perment,” and “smart employment.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, including “make better future” and “local enducation.” These errors fit a response with basic vocabulary that is not always used accurately. Build a reliable set of expressions for discussing language learning, work, travel, and cultural exchange, and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, but control of sentence structure is weak and errors frequently affect clarity. For example, “Living in foreign country is often describe the exciting opportunities” has problems with articles, verb form, and sentence construction. In “If you sattled in any country, and you don't understand their language so you face many problem,” the conditional structure is incomplete and the clauses are not joined correctly. There are also recurring agreement and plural errors, as in “social problems has common problem” and “many problem.” Use complete, clearly punctuated sentences, practise accurate conditional forms, and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and singular/plural forms.
