Student answer (Band 4.5)
Today, if we want to travel in any country we want to know and learn the international
language.Which is uselful in our travel or our work in any foreign country. Our native language does not speak in every country so in this sistuation it's helpful for us in any sistuation example like talk with locals, ask them any question and mainly we can do any conversation with locals.
Mostly, people ask that the foregin language is only uselful for travel and foreign work?and some people ask these is not the only reason to learn foreign language.
Now we talk about the first reasons ''LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR ONLY TRAVEL OR FOREIGN WORK ''. So sometime this reasons is completly true because when the people are not travel in other country they don't need to know and learn the foreign language. But, when the people travel in foreign country they need to learn foreign language. There are some disadvantages like they want spent money on learning new language after travelling there are nothing use of foregin language. There are also some advantage like they talk any time with any people of that country.
The second reasons is "THESE ARE NOT ONLY REASONS TO LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGE". This statement is also true because some peolpe love to learn new languages.
There are some advantage to learn new language. They easily conservation with any person of world in his mother tounge. And the disadvantage is it's noot uselful in our daily life.
In the conclusin my opinion the maily reason to learn is foreign language is for travel and foreign work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views and give a clear, if brief, opinion: the conclusion says that travel and foreign work are the “mainly reason” for learning a language. Relevant points include communicating with local people and the possibility that a language may not be useful in daily life at home. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The first view is treated mainly as a practical need, while the second is reduced to people enjoying languages; neither point is supported with a specific example or fuller explanation. Your position also appears only in the conclusion, so it is not consistently established across the response. Develop each view with a reason and an example, then explain why you ultimately find one more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “The second reasons” help signal the shift between viewpoints. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and the repeated “There are some advantage/disadvantage” pattern makes the discussion feel list-like rather than logically developed. Some links between sentences are also weak: the opening moves from travel to work and then to communicating with locals without clearly showing how the ideas connect. Improve this by giving each paragraph one central point, explaining it, and then adding an example. Use linking expressions to show contrast and cause, while avoiding repeated formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “travel,” “foreign country,” “locals,” and “mother tongue,” so the general meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is repetitive, with “learn,” “foreign language,” and “useful” appearing frequently, and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make the writing harder to read. For example, “conversation” is used where a verb is needed, and “situation” is repeatedly misspelled as “sistuation.” Some phrases, such as “do any conversation,” are not natural English collocations. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors such as “because,” “when,” and “but,” but sentence structures are limited and errors are frequent enough to strain understanding. The opening fragment, “Which is useful in our travel,” is not a complete sentence, and “when the people are not travel” shows problems with verb form and sentence construction. Other examples include “they want spent money” and “the mainly reason … is,” where the verb pattern or sentence structure is faulty. Punctuation and spacing also need attention, particularly the missing space after “language.” and the run-on question in the second paragraph. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses.
