Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the first body paragraph explains language requirements for travel or work, while the second gives other motives, including studying history and running an e-commerce business. Your conclusion also indicates that you believe people may learn for many reasons. However, the response only partially develops the discussion. The claim that countries test applicants and require certificates is presented broadly, without clarifying that requirements vary by country and purpose. The alternative reasons are also listed more than explained, and the conclusion is cut off after “and reas,” leaving your final position incomplete. The response is 31 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. Add specific examples and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding sentence. Sequencing expressions such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are joined without clear explanation of how they relate. For example, “study history, remote jobs or running e-commerce businesses” introduces several different reasons at once, but they are not developed in a consistent sequence. Some linking is also mechanical, and the final sentence ends abruptly, weakening the overall organisation. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain it with a relevant example, and ensure the conclusion is complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “speaking ability,” “certificate,” “national language,” and “e-commerce businesses.” These choices make the general subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear or natural, such as “eassy,” “quilfy,” “Europian,” and “diffrents.” Some phrases are also imprecise: “a history related to any countries” and “many histories books” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Aim for accurate topic-specific phrases, such as “language proficiency requirements” or “historical sources,” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the different motivations rather than relying on broad or awkward expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if you quilfy they will issue visa” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “people who wants” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “there are several reason can behind” is not grammatically complete. The opening sentence is also a fragment, and the final sentence is unfinished. Commas and full stops are often missing where clauses meet, making some sentences difficult to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
