Student answer (Band 5.5)
A group of individual have a frim believe that acquiring knowledge of international language is just for tour and to do work in a overseas nation. But on the other hand, rest of the people say that there are many other reasons to get knowledge about external language.I think learn a new language make you intalligent and confident in various aspect of life.
To commerence with, a number of people thought that inhabitants get information about the international tongue to go their as a picnic and as an employment which is ture for some instance.Firstly, some famours film stats learn different kinds of international language because they have to attend various international seminares and have to go out of the country for the promotion for their work.Morever, individual just learn some international language to understand the nature of their work and to communicate with their work partner. For example, many overseaed worker learn language of that country to conversate with the local people.
In contrast of that, others think that people have to know other language besides of international travel and work because it increase your intelligence. As there is a huge search on that a child who listen different languages in their childhood is more intelligent than who just hear 1 to 2 language from their family.Futhermore, it also increase your communication skills and makes you feel more confident. For example, if your working in a company where some foreign people came to visit and you have the knowledge about their tone makes you able to conversate with them and you will definately get appriciation with your team.
As per from my perspective, learning different language not just for tour and to work makes a person different from others in many ways like mentally and skillfully. It's help a man in many ways for example help to understand the other person and help to understand their favouite international TV programs.
To sum up these, as some people thought that individual have to learn other language for going outside of country as an entertainment or as an employe but rest of people thing that it asle make you a unique and intelligent man which is true as per my opinion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both positions and state your own view: the introduction says language learning can make people “intelligent and confident,” and the final body paragraph adds cultural understanding and access to foreign television. The examples about workers communicating with local people and employees meeting foreign visitors are relevant. However, the reasons for learning languages beyond travel and work are not developed evenly: the claim about childhood bilingualism and intelligence is broad and would benefit from a clear explanation or reliable example. The first view is also presented mainly through travel and employment examples, with limited discussion of why these are considered the only reasons. Develop each side with a more precise explanation and connect your examples directly to the argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To commence with,” “In contrast,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the discussion, and the ideas generally progress in a logical order. This meets the lower-band expectations securely and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, several transitions feel formulaic, and links between sentences are sometimes unclear—for example, the move from film stars attending seminars to the broader claim about work communication. The opinion paragraph also repeats points from the previous paragraph rather than extending them. Use referencing more precisely and make each paragraph’s central idea and supporting example connect more explicitly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “international language,” “communication skills,” “employment,” and “confident,” and the reader can usually understand your intended meaning. However, the range is limited by repeated or imprecise expressions such as “get knowledge about” and “international language.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, including “famours,” “semina res,” “conversate,” and “appreciation,” which sometimes make the message harder to process. Some combinations are unnatural, such as “go there as a picnic” and “understand the nature of their work.” Build a more accurate set of collocations for language learning, travel, and employment, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” and you use some subordination to explain examples. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. For instance, “a group of individual have” needs plural agreement, while “it increase your intelligence” needs a correctly inflected verb; “if your working” also confuses “your” with “you’re.” Some sentences combine several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, particularly in the introduction and conclusion. These errors can make the reader pause, even though the main message is generally recoverable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and complete clause.
