in our life we have to take the knowledge as much we can take it like that learning a knew language of the foreign country is a knew type of knowledge by the different words of the different language as if we have to communicate with the person of that country then we are very comfortable in communication and if we have travel in other countries then we are very comfortable in speaking with them .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You recognise the two views in the introduction: learning a language may help with travel, while there may be other reasons. You also give a relevant point about communicating more comfortably with people in another country. However, the response does not properly discuss the second view or explain other reasons, such as education, cultural understanding, or relationships, and your own opinion is only partly expressed in the final sentence. The travel point is repeated rather than supported with a specific example. The response is also 113 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop the task. To improve, explain both positions, state your view clearly, and support each main idea with a reason or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic overall sequence: an opening introduces the topic, a body paragraph discusses communication and travel, and a final sentence gives a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of direction. However, the response has only one developed body paragraph, so the two views are not separated or progressed clearly. Linking phrases such as “but” and “as a whole” are used, but relationships between ideas are sometimes unclear, and the long body sentence joins several points without clear organisation. Plan separate paragraphs for the first view, the other reasons, and your opinion; use linking expressions to show contrast and cause, and make sure each paragraph develops one central idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a small set of relevant words, including “foreign country,” “knowledge,” “communicate,” and “comfortable,” so the general topic is understandable. There are also attempts to express abstract ideas, such as describing language learning as a type of knowledge. However, vocabulary is repetitive and several choices or forms are inaccurate, including “some peoples,” “a knew type,” and “compalsary.” Phrases such as “learning a new language is help” also make the intended meaning less natural. Build a wider range of topic vocabulary and learn common collocations, for example “communicate with local people,” “broaden cultural understanding,” and “career opportunities.” Check spelling and word forms carefully, especially when reusing key terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas using clauses with “if” and “then,” and you include both simple statements and longer sentences. This shows some effort to express relationships between ideas. However, sentence structures are often inaccurate, and the long sentence beginning “in our life we have to take the knowledge” contains several clauses that are difficult to follow. There are problems with articles and agreement, as in “the the foreign country” and “some peoples think,” as well as verb patterns in “learning a new language is help” and “if we have travel.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses such as “Learning a language helps people communicate when they travel.”
