The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The provided pie charts differentiate the British students on their ability of speaking other language rather than English in year 2000 and 2010.

Overall, the visual data conduct the survey for six categories. No other language, French only, German only, Spanish only, Another language, and two other languages.

In 2000, English speakers were recorded highest with 30%. Whereas, Spanish speakers were 20% it was the second highest. However, Students able to communicate in two languages as well as German speakers were about 10%. Lastly, scholars having knowledge of another language and French speakers were 15%.

Anyways the number was significantly changed by 2010. English speakers were increased by 5%. As well as another language speakers were rose by 5% too. But the ratio was declined in Spanish speaker with 10% and in French speakers with 5%. However, two other language speaker's ratio remained exact. German speakers were increased by 5%.
