The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pie chart illustrates the information regarding the percentage of British students who ho were able to speak other languages in addition to English at one university in England, in 2000and 2010.

Overall, it is clear that, in 2000, the highest proportion of students were not able to speak other languages. After ten years, the proportion of students rose by 5 percent.

Initially, in 2000, 30 percent of students were not able to speak other languages; after a decade, the figure had increased by 35 percent. In 2000, the proportion of students who were able to speak French was 15 percent, which slightly decreased in 2010 to 10 percent.

Although the percentage of students who could speak Spanish in 2000 had significantly dropped in 2010, from 20 percent to 10 percent. Furthermore, the proportion of students who spoke German was unchanged after 10 years, at 10 percent.
