Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the ability to fully address the task. While you have identified some data points, the summary is incomplete and lacks a clear overview of the main trends. The description of the data is fragmented, and the analysis is cut off at the end, meaning the task is only partially addressed. To improve, ensure you provide a clear introductory statement, a concise overview of the main trends, and detailed supporting paragraphs that cover all categories presented in the charts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The organization of the response is disjointed. While there is an attempt to use transition words like 'secondly' and 'then next', the logical progression is hindered by the lack of complete sentences and clear paragraph structure. The text feels like a list of observations rather than a cohesive report. The referencing is often unclear, and the abrupt ending makes the overall arrangement incoherent. To improve, focus on grouping related data points into distinct paragraphs and using cohesive devices to link your ideas more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is very limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'main future' instead of 'main features' and 'eqalli percentage' instead of 'equal percentage'. The lack of variety in reporting verbs and comparative language makes the description monotonous. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise terms for describing trends, such as 'increased', 'remained stable', or 'fluctuated', and ensure accurate spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammatical control is weak, with frequent errors that often impede communication. Many sentences are incomplete or lack necessary articles, prepositions, and correct verb forms (e.g., 'This chart information is shown' instead of 'This chart shows'). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the basic sentence patterns used are often grammatically incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of tenses when describing data from the past.
